Privacy Notice

Last updated: August 13, 2026

1. Who we are

This notice explains how Eduvice (“Eduvice,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), the team behind eduvice.io and the AISUS platform, collects, uses, discloses, and protects your personal data when you visit this website or use the tools and forms on it. We're based in Thailand and process personal data in line with the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) (“PDPA”).

For any question about this notice or your personal data, contact us at privacy@eduvice.io. We haven't appointed a dedicated Data Protection Officer; the email above reaches the team responsible for handling data protection matters.

2. What this notice covers

This notice covers eduvice.io — browsing the site, signing up for beta access, and using tools like the Portfolio Checker and the Skills Roadmap assistant described below.

If you go on to create an AISUS account, your use of the platform itself is covered by the same principles described here. If anything about how the platform handles your data differs from what's described on this page, we'll tell you at the relevant point — for example, during sign-up or in-product — rather than leaving it only on this page.

3. Personal data we collect

We only collect personal data through the specific activities below — we don't require an account or profile just to browse the site.

Browsing and analytics

Like most websites, we automatically collect basic information about your visit — pages viewed, general device and browser information, and an approximate location derived from your IP address — using PostHog, a third-party analytics provider (see Section 6). This data is tied to a randomly generated identifier stored in your browser, not to your name or email, unless you separately give us your email through one of the forms below.

Beta program sign-up

If you request early access to AISUS, we collect your name, email address, the option that best describes you (e.g. student, educator), anything you choose to write in the optional “what are you interested in” field, and your confirmation of the age/guardian statement described in Section 7 — the form won't submit without it.

Portfolio Checker (beta tool)

The Portfolio Checker lets you upload a portfolio file for an automated assessment, and asks for your consent before processing it, plus a separate, optional consent for using it to help improve our AI models. At the end of the tool, we ask for your email address and a consent to be contacted about your results.

This tool is currently in beta. As of this notice, the file you upload and the email you provide are handled entirely in your browser and are not transmitted to or stored on our servers — the “analysis” you see is a preview of how the finished tool will work. We'll update this notice before that changes.

Skills Roadmap assistant

If you use the skills-roadmap chat tool, the track, skill level, goal, and expectations you enter are sent to our AI provider (see Section 6) to generate a response. We don't ask you to identify yourself to use this tool, but please avoid typing personal details into the free-text fields, since we can't control what you choose to type.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

We don't set our own cookies. Our analytics provider, PostHog, stores a randomly generated identifier in your browser (via a cookie or local storage) so it can distinguish repeat visits from new ones. This identifier isn't linked to your name or email unless you separately submit one of the forms above.

5. Why we use your data, and on what basis

We use the personal data described in Section 3 to: respond to your beta access request; operate, secure, and improve this website and the tools on it; understand how visitors use the site so we can make it better; and, where you've agreed, contact you about AISUS.

Where you submit a form (beta sign-up, Portfolio Checker), we process your data on the basis of the consent you give at that point — you can withdraw it at any time by contacting us (Section 9), though this won't affect anything we did before you withdrew it. For basic analytics needed to run and secure the site, we rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the service working and understanding how it's used, balanced against your rights.

6. Who we share data with

We don't sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers that help us run this website, each acting on our behalf for the purposes described above:

  • PostHog (analytics) — processes data on servers located in the United States.
  • Groq (AI processing) — processes the text you enter into the Skills Roadmap assistant to generate a response.
  • Google (via Google Sheets) — stores beta sign-up submissions.
  • Sanity (content management) — hosts the non-personal content shown on this site (articles, event listings, and similar).
  • Vercel (hosting) — hosts and serves this website.

Some of these providers process data outside Thailand (including in the United States). Where that happens, we rely on the provider's own safeguards for cross-border data transfers and only share what's needed for them to perform their service for us.

We may also disclose personal data if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Eduvice, our users, or others.

7. If you're under 20

Some of the people who use this site — including students researching university applications — are under 20 years old. Under the PDPA, if you're 10 or younger, a parent or legal guardian needs to give consent on your behalf before you submit personal data to us. If you're between 10 and 20, you generally need both your own consent and your parent or guardian's, unless what you're doing is something the law already lets someone your age do on their own.

If you're under 20, review this notice with a parent or legal guardian and get their permission before submitting your personal data through any form on this site. Where a form asks for it, checking the age/guardian confirmation box is how you (or your guardian) tell us that permission has been given — we don't submit the form without it. If we have reason to believe we've collected a minor's data without the required consent, contact us (Section 9) and we'll delete it.

8. How long we keep your data

We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected for, or as required by law — for example, beta sign-up details for as long as the beta program is active, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first. Basic analytics data is retained according to our analytics provider's standard retention settings.

9. Your rights

Under the PDPA, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; have it corrected if it's inaccurate; have it deleted or anonymized; restrict how we use it; object to certain uses; receive a copy in a portable format where applicable; and withdraw any consent you've given us, at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@eduvice.io. If you're not satisfied with how we've handled your request, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with Thailand's Office of the Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC).

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the personal data we hold from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice as our site, tools, or practices change. If we make a material change, we'll update the “Last updated” date above, and where appropriate, let you know more directly.
